Zeo Positioning System

Sometimes I can’t find my dog. This project in no way solves that problem, but it does let me know where he’s been once I find him. Using an Arduino microcontroller, a LiPo battery, and a GPS receiver his location is logged to an SD card. Later I can view his route in Google Earth. His name is Zeo.

Here’s a map from a recent walk. My wife and I hiked the blue route for a total of 0.94 miles. Zeo’s route, in white, is 2.3 miles long.
